Roving, Roving, Roving, and wait, More Roving from Eric the Quilter

It’s been a busy week! I’m repainting the photo studio at work, and making roving in my free time. I’ve got so many projects in my head, it’s hard to find the time and upper body strength to keep up. I Came, I Taught, I Had So Much Fun! from Eric the Quilter

I had so much fun teaching at The Weavers Guild of Minnesota! In fact, this picture is from one of the students in the class. She took the scrap yarn I had from work and turned it into this beautiful yarn! This was from a student named Angela, and she really ran with the idea of working with the scraps to make some gorgeous new yarn! Reclaiming factory waste wasn’t the only class I taught! I’m Teaching In 2 Weeks! from Eric the Quilter

I have two classes I’m teaching at The Weavers Guild of Minnesota in 2 weeks! I couldn’t be more excited!

One class is on how to make this lovely scarf, pictured above, and the other is how to spin fiber from reclaimed factory waste. I’m so excited! Everyone knows how much I love Minnesota, and it has been so long since I’ve taught an actual class. I’m a little nervous! I guess the hardest part will be making sure I pack everything! Wish me luck!
